Getting closer....

Less than five weeks to go now and I'm starting to pull everything together.  I have a nice big bag to take all my clothes across in (thanks, Mum & Dad!), a tent for emergencies (thanks, Colin) and a huge bundle of advice on where to go and what to see (thanks, Cath and everyone else).

I've also been playing with technology and have bought a small video camera to take with me.  I don't have a video from it that I can post here (yet) but I have been playing in iMovie and have created the following video to show what parts of the world I will be travelling over.

Ok, so it's a poor excuse to spend an evening doing something unproductive....  But I hope at least that to prove that I can publish short videos to this blog!
